Submission Guidelines
Technical
- Format: MP4 or MOV, H.264 or H.265
- Resolution: 1080p at minimum. 4K is welcome
- Orientation: 9:16 for drama series. 16:9 is fine for films
- Duration: 30 seconds to 20 minutes per file
- File size: up to 2 GB per file, up to 10 files per submission
- Audio: stereo, with dialogue sitting clearly above the music
Eligibility
Fine:
- Made with any AI video tool. You don't need to use Imaginary
- You own or control the rights to the footage, voices and music
- Work you've already posted, as long as you still hold the distribution rights
Not fine:
- A real person's likeness without their written consent
- Copyrighted characters, logos or commercial music
- Anything already under an exclusive licence somewhere else

No. Any AI tool is fine. We ask which ones you used because we credit them, and because we're curious.
You do. Submitting gives us a non-exclusive right to review it and show clips of it. Distribution is a separate agreement that you only sign if we select you, with a 12-month exclusive window. After that the rights come back to you.
You get a percentage of the net revenue your title earns on the channel it is released on, paid monthly. The exact rate is in your distribution agreement and depends on the channel and the format. Your dashboard shows views and earnings.
Up to 10 working days for a first decision. Distribution offers can take longer because the channel partner has to confirm the slot.
Yes, and we'd rather you did. Upload the pilot and describe the rest of the season in the synopsis. Commissioned deals are built for exactly this.
You can submit again to any future brief, and every decision comes with short feedback on why it did not land this time.
